Because of this, we do sometimes make unpopular choices. We don't always use the most common tools or methods. Each time we do something, even something done a thousand times before, we take a look at our process and ask ourselves: can we improve this? We pay the strictest attention to the details no one will ever see, but everyone can perceive. Like our code. We write beautiful code.

In order to keep such sharp focus, we have streamlined our process, rounding corners rather than cutting them. The equipment we use, the vendors we call upon, the people who support our efforts by lending their talents to our tasks are all the best available today. It may seem strange that we put more thought into the chairs we sit on than the business cards we hand out, but then again, we do a lot of sitting.

Our approach is not for everyone. Unlike some larger design houses, we do not choose to invest our energies in our initial presentations. It may surprise you that the account representatives we send to your office are artists, programmers, or network specialists. Because we feel that the people who will address your needs should be the same people to whom those needs are expressed.

We expect that, given the chance, the work will speak for itself. There are many circumstances in which the trimmings of a big production house are required. When that is the case, we have wonderful colleagues, and we can help you find them. And they give wonderful presentations and have beautiful materials to hand out. Because we understand the value of all of that. It's just not something we do.
